  • Angewandte Geodatenverarbeitung (WP, M.Sc.)
Using the free programming language R, GIS-based procedures for the script-based processing of spatial data are operationalized.
  • Geodaten Kommunizieren (WP, M.Sc.)
Using open source methods for the web-based creation of interactive and dynamic maps, a variety of presentation and visualization options for the communication of geoinformation are operationalized.
  • Projektstudie Swiss National Park: Hillslope-channel connectivity in mountain environments (PM, M.Sc.)
Maping of geomorphic processes in mountain areas and analysis of sediment dynamics combining morphometric GIS modelling at the catchment scale and at site geomorphic field observations.
  • Vertiefung GIS-Methoden (WP, B.Sc.)
A deepened understanding of open source GIS methods and enhanced skills in the handling of geodata are taught using typical acquisition, management, analysis and presentation techniques.
